Proposal Manager

The Proposal Manager will be instrumental in driving growth by identifying and targeting SMBs through innovative lead-generation strategies. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a proven track record of generating qualified leads using generic websites and online platforms. This role involves managing the entire RFP process, from identifying opportunities to crafting compelling proposals tailored to SMB needs.

  • Proactively search for RFPs and business opportunities in the SMB call center and customer support sectors using generic websites, online directories, and industry portals.
  • Leverage expertise in lead generation to identify and qualify prospects aligned with the company’s services and strategic goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, evaluate opportunities, and refine criteria for targeting SMB clients.
  • Lead the development of high-quality proposals, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and persuasive messaging tailored to SMB audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and ensure proposals effectively highlight the company’s capabilities and value proposition.
  • Conduct discovery calls with SMB prospects to understand their needs and position the company’s services as the ideal solution.
  • Manage the complete proposal submission process, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all RFP requirements.
  • Track the status of submitted proposals, follow up with clients, and engage in post-submission discussions to address queries or negotiate terms.
  • Utilize knowledge of lead generation tools and platforms to continuously identify new opportunities and improve targeting strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in proposal management or lead generation, ideally targeting SMB clients.
  • Proven track record of generating qualified leads using generic websites and online platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SMB client needs and decision-making processes.
  • Excellent organizational, business writing, oral communication, and time management skills.
  • Experience working with RFPs/RFIs/RFQs/ITB.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with proposal management software.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
