The Sales Performance Coach is responsible for leading, motivating, and developing the Outbound Sales Team to exceed sales targets while providing targeted coaching, training, and strategic support. This role blends leadership with hands-on coaching to enhance agents’ ability to overcome objections, upsell, upgrade, and cross-sell, ultimately increasing revenue, average order value, and customer satisfaction.
Sales Leadership and Team Management
● Lead and inspire a team of outbound sales representatives to deliver excellent performance and exceed KPIs.
● Create and maintain a motivating, collaborative, and fun team environment.
● Manage daily operations, prioritizing tasks and assessing impact and risks to achieve SLAs.
● Oversee attendance, retention, and adherence to company policies while applying performance management consistently.
● Support the team by taking live calls when required, especially with new offers.
● Ensure up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions, and processes, and cascade this to the team effectively.
Sales Performance Coaching and Training
● Conduct regular one-on-one and group coaching sessions to improve sales skills.
● Develop and deliver training on objection handling, upselling, cross-selling, and managing challenging customer interactions.
● Provide real-time feedback during calls, using role-play and mock calls to reinforce best practices.
● Monitor call quality, review recordings, and provide actionable feedback.
● Identify objection trends and create effective counter-strategies.
Performance Analysis and Strategy Development
● Track and analyze key sales metrics to identify performance gaps and training needs.
● Collaborate with management to design personalized coaching and development plans.
● Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and conversion rates.
Collaboration and Reporting
● Partner with Operations and other Team Leaders to share best practices and align with company goals.
● Escalate operational risks and opportunities for improvement to senior management.
● Maintain weekly reports in Monday.com and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
● At least 2–3 years in a similar role with 1–2 years in outbound sales.
● Proven track record in sales coaching or training.
● Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
● Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities.
● Skilled at analyzing data and translating insights into action plans.
● Creative thinker with the ability to adapt quickly to change.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems, sales tracking
tools, and platforms like Monday.com or Zingtree is a plus.
● Experience with American culture and demographics is preferred, ideally in supplements or e-commerce sales.
● Strong people-development skills through call listening and quality feedback.
● Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize effectively.
● Capable of handling demanding customers and escalations.
