About HelpGrid

HelpGrid is a performance-driven growth partner for eCommerce brands in the health and wellness space. We specialize in abandoned cart recovery, post-sale engagement, and customer support — helping our clients recover 10–15% more revenue from existing traffic. In fact, our work drove over $35 million in additional revenue for our clients last year alone. We’re selective about who we work with, and we only get paid when we deliver results.

What started as a small but mighty support team has grown into a full-scale revenue engine, and now, a tech company. We've built custom internal tools to optimize conversations, scale faster, and deepen customer connection — and we're now turning those tools into software products powered by AI and automation.

Whether you're a closer, a creative, a builder, or a systems thinker, there's room to grow with us. We care about performance, but we care just as much about people, and we’re building a place where both can thrive.

We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for people who want to grow with us.

Why This Role Exists

The Sales Performance Coach plays a crucial role in developing and leading the outbound sales team to consistently exceed targets. This position combines hands-on coaching, strategic leadership, and performance analysis to help agents enhance their objection handling, upselling, and cross-selling skills — ultimately driving revenue growth, higher average order values, and greater customer satisfaction.

You’ll act as both a motivator and a mentor — equipping your team to perform at their best, while partnering with leadership to refine strategy and elevate sales excellence across the organization.

  • Support your team by taking live calls when required, particularly with new campaigns or offers.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions, and sales processes, cascading information effectively to the team.

Sales Performance Coaching and Training

  • Conduct one-on-one and group coaching sessions to develop sales and communication skills.

  • Deliver training on objection handling, upselling, cross-selling, and managing challenging conversations.

  • Provide real-time call feedback and run mock sessions to reinforce best practices.

  • Monitor call quality, review recordings, and give actionable, constructive feedback.

  • Identify recurring objections or challenges and design counter-strategies that drive better outcomes.

Performance Analysis and Strategy Development

  • Track and analyze key sales metrics to identify trends, performance gaps, and training opportunities.

  • Collaborate with management to design personalized development plans and improvement initiatives.

  • Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve conversion rates and team efficiency.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Partner with Operations and other team leaders to share best practices and ensure alignment with company goals.

  • Escalate operational risks, barriers, and improvement opportunities to senior leadership.

  • Maintain weekly reports and updates in internal platforms (such as Monday.com) to keep stakeholders informed.

Additional Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar coaching or leadership role

  • 1–2 years of outbound sales experience

  • Proven success in sales coaching or training with measurable results

  • Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills

  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
